Udith Molanguri became the first of this year’s Horley Under-13s players to make an appearance for one of the club’s adult sides, when he turned out for the Sunday Strollers against Jamaican Pirates from Hove.
Molanguri, aged 13, took two wickets for ten runs from his five overs (one bowled and one lbw) as Pirates were bowled out for 197. He then made 28 runs in Horley’s reply, but the team fell short at 132 all out.
Zack Collins, from Horley Under-14s, also had a great game, taking four wickets for 33 runs and top-scoring for Horley with 37.
