Aidan Spalding achieved the tremendous feat of taking six wickets in an innings for Horley Under-11s in their NEC League match against Spencer Cricket Club on Sunday.
Players are only allowed to bowl four overs each in this competition so to take six wickets in such a short spell is a rare occurrence. Five of Spalding’s victims were bowled and one was caught behind by wicket keeper Artie Hoskins. Spalding finished with six for 20, but Horley lost the match.
