Eltham Cricket Club 203 all out (32 overs), Horley Strollers 103 all out (21.2 overs), Horley Row, Sunday 28 April.
After winning the toss and electing to field in this 40 over game, Horley got off to a strong start, restricting Eltham to just 12 runs before Chris Cosham took the first wicket.
Some strong batting from P Swain, who made 88, saw Eltham bat themselves into the game, but two wickets from Naveed Sherwani and another three from Cosham – who finished on 4-28 from eight overs - helped Horley towards the finish line.
Leon Watson also grabbed a pair of wickets and Martyn March and Alex Gaynor took one each as Eltham were bowled out for 203.
Horley started their innings well with Richard Waddington high scoring with 26. They were ahead of the run-rate for a while, with runs from Nick Waddington and Colin Terry edging them closer to the target.
However, a collapse of six wickets for just 27 runs left the hosts 100 runs short as they were bowled out for just 103.
