Horley put out two Sunday Strollers teams on the same day and beat Ifield by 67 runs, but lost at Balcombe by 33 runs.
At Ifield, the Strollers made 216-1 from 40 overs with Danyal Razzaq hitting 87 not out, Andrew Longley retiring on 52 and George Heise making 43 not out.
Colin Terry was the star turn with the ball, picking up five wickets for 16 runs in 5.2 overs, including a hat-trick, as Ifield were bowled out for 149. Tyler Nevill took three wickets.
At Balcombe, the hosts made 204 for seven from their 40 overs. Callum Tester took three wickets for Horley, Evan Grimwood two and Craig Macfarlane one, with Alex Field getting a direct-hit run-out.
Grimwood top-scored in Horley’s reply, the 13-year-old making an excellent 56 – his first senior 50 for Horley - while Kieran Childs got 41 and Field 24. Cameron Bennett, playing his first-ever match, scored seven.
