Horley skipper Darren Croft won an important toss and didn’t hesitate in asking the opposition to bat first.
A superb bowling performance from Horley enabled them to dismiss Wallington for 100.
A bowling masterclass from the experienced Abdul Razzaq with a magnificent spell of 6 for 11 off his 9 overs was the pick of the bowlers. Tom Livermore gained a further 3 wickets with the final one falling to young off spinner Ben Remfry.
In reply Horley openers Ben Remfry and Dave Hyde got off to a solid start adding 33 for the first wicket. Despite the loss of a couple of middle order wickets Ben Remfry 48 not out and Fazir Nadir 12 not out saw Horley home to a comfortable 6 wicket win inside 30 overs.
