Horley won the toss and elected to field. Matt Gainsford and Charlie Robins bowled a good, steady opening spell but then Sheen Park started to make progress.
Robins took two wickets and Gainsford one – all bowled – to see Sheen Park at 59-3, then Trevor Stevens came on to bowl and slowed the run rate down.
He removed batters five and six and picked up a later wicket to end with figures of three for 28.
Jonathan Barnett (3-35) got the important wicket of Touseef Ahmad, who made 84 runs before he was caught by Brad Bosman.
Sheen Park were all out for 159 in the 45th over and Horley didn’t make the best of starts to their reply, losing their first wicket inside two overs.
However, they recovered thanks to Bosman, who got a quick 78 to put the opposition on the back foot.
By the time he was out lbw Horley were 111-6 as Sikander Jajja had been taking wickets at the other end.
Barnett hit an important 34 not out and Ross Nel made 14 not out to see Horley home to claim a valuable important win.
