Prosecco Moment - Our Inaugral Ladies match in 2019

Horley Ladies team started playing cricket together in 2019 and entered the Surrey Womens Cricket league in 2021. The squad is a group of 20 plus Horley women of different levels of experience, ability and age who enjoy playing cricket together. Some have experience playing, but many are brand new to playing, although they have spent a lot of time on the boundary supporting family members.
Ladies Captain Martha Spalding said
‘We are friendly, fun-loving bunch. Enjoying playing cricket together is our priority. However we are committed to playing competitively in the League and members are already training hard to improve their skills and chance of success’.
The Ladies are currently taking part in the surrey indoor softball festivals during the winter months.
Training and matches
2022 Indoor training shall be starting on Thursday 13th January at Copthorne Prep School 8pm to 9pm for 10 weeks.

The Ladies receive great support from the Club, particularly from the veteran Strollers who have provided even more opportunities for net practice and practice matches.
